What we do
Mission Statement
Our mission as a 501 C3, is to help American Freedmen throughout the state of Kentucky and the nation to reconnect to their Freedmen history and roots, to secure political, educational, social, and economic equality and equity through reparations in order to eliminate lineage-based discrimination and the linage wealth gap, as well as to increase the American Freedmen health and well-being.
Legislative Watch & Call to Action
KUSFC will pursue close relationships with decision makers on local, city, state and Federal government, to disaggregate the data and the fight for reparative Justice.
Juneteenth Celebration
Juneteenth is now a federal holiday. Help us raise money to observe this day of liberation for the American Freedmen descendants of emancipated Slaves.

The Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen and Abandoned Lands was pertinent in registering emancipated slaves and helping them to reunited with families that had been separated during the oppressive system of slavery.
